A big refresh: a cleaner dashboard, new overlays, and a recap worth sharing
Overlays
- New Request Alert overlay: pops up whenever someone requests a song, with an optional chime, a choice of entrance and a badge for priority requests
- New overlays for queue length, request rules, songs on hold, just played, and a single now playing line
- Each overlay can have its own colours, text size, background opacity, font and which details show
- Pick from 14 fonts for any overlay. Every overlay keeps its current font until you choose one
- Quick looks: one-click colour presets for every overlay
- Overlay links now use your Twitch ID, so they keep working if you change your Twitch name. Old links still work
- Drag an overlay straight into OBS to add it at the right size
- "Send a test to OBS" shows sample songs on every overlay you have open, so you can line them up without waiting for chat
- The overlays page shows a live preview at the overlay's real size beside the settings, and the save button stays in view
- Settings that don't apply are hidden, like the chime volume while the chime is off
- Overlays react to queue changes faster and use less data
- Text to speech reads each song as it starts
- The queue and open/closed overlays keep their current look until you save a theme
Public song list
- Your song list is a searchable library instead of a spreadsheet: one search box filters everything as you type
- Each song shows its full title, artist and details, with a request button beside it
- Sort by song, artist, most requested or recently added. Titles starting with brackets or quotes sort where you'd expect
- A status strip shows whether requests are open and how busy the queue is, and updates live when you open or close requests
- Viewers can see their own request, and songs already in the queue are marked
- Easier to use on a phone, with the search bar staying in view as you scroll
Dashboard and queue
- The dashboard shows what's playing now and what's up next, live
- Open or close requests, play the next or a random song, and connect the bot without leaving the dashboard
- Copy your song list link in one click
- New channels get a short getting-started checklist, which goes away once the first request comes in
- The queue works properly on phones, with the main buttons in a bar along the bottom
- Clearing the queue asks for a second tap, so it can't happen by accident
Bot
- Commands & replies is one simpler page: a list of commands with plain names, each edited in its own window
- Replies show exactly how they'll look in chat, with an Insert menu for things like the song name or requester
- You're warned if two commands share the same trigger
- Fixed the song list link the bot posts for channels where it was missing /u/
Request settings
- Redesigned, with a plain explanation for every option
- Set the longest song allowed in minutes and seconds
- "Let viewers swap their request" only shows when it applies
- Fixed: you can now clear the charts shown on your song list
Priority requests
- Rules read as sentences, like "When a raid brings at least 10 viewers, give the raider priority 3"
- Each event type shows whether it's on and how many rules it has
- Rules that could never match can't be saved by mistake
- You get a confirmation when your priority settings are saved
Recap (your year in requests)
- Starts with your channel, then shows the rest of Ouvert
- Plays full screen and moves on by itself. Hold to pause, tap the sides to skip
- New stats: your streams, biggest stream, longest run of days, busiest month, how many different viewers requested and how many were new, your most loyal viewer, how much of your library got played, and your longest song
- See how your year compares with the one before
- Your recap personality, like The Marathoner, The Crowd Pleaser or The Collector
- Rankings, like "Top 5% of Ouvert channels", for plays, time on stream and viewers
- A card summing up your year that you can save, copy or share
- Livelier animations: podiums count down from 5th to 1st, numbers roll in, a calendar of your streams fills in, and your busiest month gets a chart
- More accurate numbers: song lengths are counted correctly, and your own requests no longer count as viewer requests
Fixes and security
- Tighter security for the bot's connection to Ouvert, and Twitch notifications are checked before they're used
- Moderators are matched by their Twitch ID, so a moderator who changes their name keeps access
- Lots of smaller reliability fixes for the bot and live updates
